It features a reliable, low-maintenance internal mechanism that allows shifting under load and provides a highly efficient gear range with no overlap. The shift indexing is located at the hub rather than the shifter.

This model is disc brake compatible and requires a Rohloff-specific 4-bolt rotor, which is sold separately. It is designed to be laced with 32 J-bend spokes in either 1x or 2x cross patterns; 3x lacing is not recommended and voids the warranty due to potential flange damage.

Included with the hub are a 14-speed twist shifter, a 16-tooth cog, and cables with housing. The hub uses a hollow quick release axle suitable for vertical dropouts and is specifically made for frames with post mount disc brake calipers (OEM2). Note that this hub does not include a chain tensioner.

Weight: 1820 grams

Color: Black

Brake type: 4-bolt disc

Rear axle spacing: 135mm QR

14-speed internal rear hub drivetrain system shifts smoothly under load for reliable gear changes.

Disc compatible hub requires Rohloff specific 4-bolt rotor (sold separately).

Low maintenance internal design reduces wear for long-lasting performance.

Rear hub features 32 spoke holes with J-Bend spokes and 135mm quick release axle spacing.

Includes 14-speed twist shifter, 16t cog, cables, and housing for complete setup.

https://tecopecosafe.com/products/rohloff-speedhub-500-14-cc-oem2-32-hole-threaded-rrhb2573-bicycle-rear-hub
